Here at Orbis we value our people and take the safety and wellbeing of our Orbis family (employees, volunteers, contractors) very seriously.

Our safeguarding policies and principles have been put in place to help protect people from harm and ensure all people are treated with respect. Our staff, contractors and volunteers follow a strict ethical code of practice and clear policies to ensure we provide the highest standards of care worldwide.

We've also established an Ethics and Compliance Hotline which provides employees with a confidential and anonymous route to report issues or concerns.

Your support is critical to our existence and we want to openly reassure you that we're working hard to ensure your generous contributions are being used as effectively as possible to deliver high quality eye care and build a lasting eye care legacy in the communities that need it most.

Through our headquarters in New York and our 13 fundraising and program offices around the world, we conducted 63 sight-saving projects in 27 countries in 2018.

We work where the need for eye care is greatest and where we can do the most good.

We strive for excellence in everything we do - from our world leading volunteers to our state-of-the-art Flying Eye Hospital - and only the best training and practices will be passed on.

At Orbis International, we're proud to be led by a team of highly-experienced visionaries. Under their strategic guidance, we can drive change and transform eye care in communities all over the world. These visionaries include our leadership team as well as board members and our Medical Strategy Committee.

We have recently developed a 3-year global strategic plan to ensure we're making the biggest impact possible for the communities we serve.
