Alcon’s own expert biomedical engineers also participate in our training programmes, sharing their skills and knowledge with our partners to help them operate and maintain critical medical technology and local infrastructure.
In 2016, Alcon strengthened its commitment to Orbis by renewing its global sponsorship for a further two-year period. The grant provides both cash and medical gifts in-kind, underscoring Alcon’s support of Orbis’ global training and education initiatives aboard the Flying Eye Hospital, online via Cybersight and in partner hospital locations.
