What's better than taking your children to an inspiring journey during the summer break? This summer, Orbis would like to bring you to Can Tho, Vietnam, for a five-day-four-night sight-saving tour. Throughout the entire journey, you will be interviewing visually-impaired children first-hand, observing live surgeries and joining eye screening activity in the local community, etc. By spreading our love and passion, we believe participants, especially children, can bring light and hope to the needy in Vietnam! Both parent-child groups or individual participants are welcomed to join us.
Date: August 5-9, 2018 (Sun-Thu)
Location: Can Tho, Vietnam
Tour fee: HK$9,000 per adult and HK$7,500 per child aged 11 or below.
(Includes ferry and air tickets, shared room accommodation, as well as meals & transportation throughout the trip. The fees of tourist visa application and travel insurance are not included)
Qualification: Parent-child group (one parent and one child aged 8 to 15) OR individual. Orbis monthly donors will be prioritized.
Enrolment method: Enroll online, or download and submit the below enrolment form on or before May 9. If applications are oversubscribed, final participants will be drawn by lot.
Notes: All tour participants must agree to
1) be Orbis Friends / Kids Sight Friends monthly donors;
2) participate in pre-arranged activities and complete a travel log;
3) be filmed for producing fundraising materials / videos;
4) support Orbis’s promotion activities, including raising funds for Orbis and attending future Orbis’s donor events and media interviews.
