Keep an Eye on Eyesight

Held on the second Thursday of each October, World Sight Day is the day the World Health Organization (WHO) and the leading blindness prevention organizations from the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), including Orbis pool together resources to raise public awareness on the importance of eye health and care. In line with the pertinent objective of this significant day, Orbis Macau has been organizing an annual advocacy and fundraising campaign, Action for Sight. The theme of this year’s campaign is KEEP AN EYE ON EYESIGHT, especially selected to remind and encourage the community to “keep an eye” on their eyesight, and of the people around them, as well as those in need worldwide.

This year’s limited edition Action for Sight pins are “the Eye of Vision” and “the Eye of Hope", the cute and dedicated designs emphasize the message of “Keep an Eye on your Eyesight” theme, as together we delivery the hope of sight to those in need. To thank our donors for their kind support, with every MOP100 or above donated, one of the two Action for Sight pins will be presented (design of pin is randomly selected).
