As we celebrate the festive new lunar year and welcome in the Year of the Tiger, Orbis would like to sincerely invite you to support our “Give the Gift of Sight, Donate a Red Packet” campaign. Red Packets traditionally carry the blessings and well wishes of the givers to the recipients, from 4 February to 28 February 2022 donate a red packet and bestow auspicious and life-transforming blessings to the many visually impaired patients in need!
Having suffered from cataract since the age of four, Ayat’s sight progressively worsened over the years. But at the refugee camp, Ayat’s family came across the Orbis Vision Centre, where the Centre’s optometrist found that his severe cataract had left him almost blind in his right eye, and referred Ayat to receive surgery that has totally transformed his life. Today’s Ayat has recovered and can see clearly, he is looking forward to a bright future. Help us to help more people like Ayat, and ensure we can continue to provide vision saving treatments they so desperately need.
