In the past 2020, Orbis Macau has succeeded in raising around MOP $16 million. The donations collected are now being used to help countless visually impaired people to realize the dream of sight and to regain their confidence and independence. Our volunteer doctors are all deeply touched by the way you have helped them to further ignite the passion for helping the visually impaired.
In 2020, Orbis trained 26,036 eye health professionals in 192 countries and regions through Cybersight – which is over three times more individuals and 9 more countries than in 2019.' There were 664 live consultations throughout the year and the Cybersight library received more than 2.3 million video views – which is seven times more views than in 2019.
